Simple terms for a thoughtful tool.

1. What WaitBefore does

WaitBefore is a personal decision-support tool that lets you record a possible purchase, choose a cooling-down period, receive optional reminders, and reflect on whether you still want the item.

WaitBefore does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, or mental-health advice. You remain responsible for every purchase and financial decision.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information and photos you add, for keeping your device secure, and for maintaining any device backups you need.

You may use WaitBefore only for lawful personal purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the app, misuse its services, or infringe another person's rights.

3. Reminders and insights

Timers, notifications, savings totals, challenge progress, and other insights are organizational aids. Notification delivery can be affected by iOS permissions, Focus modes, power settings, device time, and operating-system behavior.

Amounts marked as avoided represent user-recorded decisions and are not verified bank savings, account balances, or guarantees of financial outcomes.

4. Premium purchases

WaitBefore may offer premium features through an Apple in-app purchase or subscription. The product, duration, trial, renewal terms, localized price, and taxes shown in the App Store purchase sheet control your transaction.

Apple processes payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds under its terms. RevenueCat helps WaitBefore verify purchase and entitlement status. You can restore eligible purchases from the Premium screen and manage subscriptions through your Apple account.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the nickname, purchase records, notes, and photos you add. You confirm that you have permission to use that content. WaitBefore does not claim ownership of it.

6. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use WaitBefore on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the App Store rules. You may not resell, sublicense, or use the app to violate law.

7. Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. Device capabilities, iOS versions, local storage, App Store availability, and third-party services may affect operation.

8. Disclaimer and liability

WaitBefore is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, notification delivery, preservation of local data, or any particular financial result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WaitBefore and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, missed reminders, purchases, or lost savings arising from use of the app.
